Fluorescence Lifetime Fiber Photometry System

A stable, quantitative, and reliable solution for in vivo signal measurement.

The iFLiP Fluorescence Lifetime Fiber Photometry System is a next-generation in vivo optical detection platform designed for cutting-edge life science research. Unlike conventional fiber photometry systems that rely solely on fluorescence intensity changes, iFLiP uses fluorescence lifetime as its core measurement parameter. This fundamentally overcomes the limitations of intensity-based approaches, which are highly susceptible to light attenuation, motion artifacts, and system drift, enabling more stable, reproducible, quantitative, and scientifically robust data for real-time monitoring of biological signals in living tissue.

Built on the NV-1-488 hardware platform, the system combines high-precision pulsed excitation with time-resolved detection to deliver quantitative readouts that accurately reflect molecular state changes, even in complex in vivo environments. The platform is fully compatible with the majority of currently available green and yellow fluorescence lifetime probes, covering most published and widely used lifetime-based molecular sensors. This makes it particularly well suited for studies of intracellular signaling pathways, neuromodulation, and other dynamic biological processes based on fluorescent sensors.

The system features a compact, modular design that is easily expandable and fully compatible with existing fiber photometry workflows, requiring minimal changes to established experimental setups. This significantly lowers the barrier to adoption and reduces deployment costs. Whether for fundamental research or translational applications, the fluorescence lifetime fiber photometry system provides a solid technological foundation for high-quality data acquisition and confident decision-making.
